Software engineer

dies in road accident

Santosh, 21, a software professional, died on Sunday night when a lorry hit

the motorcycle he was riding from behind at Madhapur.

The victim was a resident of Gachibowli.

Man found dead

An unidentified man, aged about 30 years, was found murdered with his throat slit at a place near Sainagar Colony, Hayathnagar, on Monday.

Two held

The Kulsumpura police on Monday arrested two youngsters and recovered seven stolen motorcycles worth Rs. 7 lakhs from them.

The arrested persons, Ravi Kiran and H. Naresh, both aged about 19 years, were residents of Karwan.

Gold chain snatched

A bicycle-borne youngster snatched a gold chain weighing two tolas from a woman, Apoorva, 23, while she was walking on a road near D.D. Colony, Amberpet.

A student of M.B.A., the woman was returning home from a bank.

Salesman robbed

Two motorcycle-borne youngsters robbed a salesman, Mohd. Basar, 27, of Rs. 5,000 and a mobile after attacking him with knives at Chandrayanagutta on Sunday. The sales executive was going from Phoolbagh to Chandrayanagutta in an auto-rickshaw.
