Spectacular photo

Thanks to The Hindu for prominently publishing the photograph of the Prime Minister and Cuban leader Fidel Castro (Sept. 19). Was it a response to the statement of the greatest revolutionary of all times that he wanted the "photograph to be seen by one billion people?" Fidel Castro is not just a charismatic leader. He is a visionary reformist who taught his people not just to believe but to think, to reason out. Castro's belief in, and policy of expansion of, public-funded healthcare and education achieved a high human development rating for Cuba. India has a lot to learn from the Cuban experience.
