CHENNAI: Southwest monsoon has been vigorous over Telangana and active over coastal Andhra Pradesh and Kerala.

Rainfall occurred at most places over Telangana and Kerala, at many places over coastal Andhra Pradesh and coastal Karnataka and at a few places over interior Karnataka. Isolated rainfall occurred over Rayalaseema, Lakshadweep and Tamil Nadu.

Forecast (Valid until Thursday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at most places over coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, at many places over coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep and at a few places over Rayalaseema, and interior Karnataka.

Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.

HEAVY RAINFALL WARNING: Isolated heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur over Telangana during the next 48 hours. Isolated heavy rain is also likely to occur over coastal Andhra Pradesh during the same period.
