Hungarian film festival begins today

CHENNAI: The Hungarian Information and Cultural Centre, New Delhi, Federation of Film Societies of India (northern region) and Madras Film Society have jointly organised a six-day festival of Hungarian films at the South Indian Film Chamber theatre from Wednesday.

Seven films will be screened at the festival, to be inaugurated by Dr. Imre Lazer, Director, Hungarian Cultural Centre, New Delhi.

`The Bridgeman' directed by Beremenyi Geza, `I love Budapet' by Incze Agnes, `The Last Blues' by Gardos Peter, `The Prince's Respite' by Timar Peter, `Eastern Sugar' by Tork Ferenc, and `Dad Goes Nuts' by Sas Tamas are the films that will be screened during the festival.
