BANGALORE: The sixty-year old landmark on Bull Temple Road, Gokhale Institute of Public Affairs, will have a large new auditorium which will be opened on September 22.

The DVG Sabhangana will be opened by the Pejawar Math Seer Vishvesha Tirtha Swamiji. The expansion of the auditorium, where several memorable events have been held since 1945, was made possible with funding by Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Manjunatha Temple and some donors.

The social service and public affairs institute in Basavanagudi was founded by litterateur D.V. Gundappa in 1945. It regularly organises lectures and study classes and coordinates activities with other like-minded organisations.
