BHEL bags power plant order in U.P.

TIRUCHI: BHEL has bagged an order worth Rs. 1,224 crore for setting up a 500 MW thermal power plant, comprising two units of 250 MW each, in Uttar Pradesh. The Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd. (UPRVUNL) has placed the order for its expansion of Harduaganj Thermal Power Station. Both the units are slated for commissioning in fiscal 2009-10.
