KARIMNAGAR: Minister for Revenue D. Prasada Rao has instructed officials to conduct proper enumeration of crops which were damaged in the recent floods in Karimnagar district. He has asked them to deploy additional personnel to ensure transparency in the distribution of input subsidy for farmers. The Revenue Minister, along with Minister for Sports M. Satyanarayana, visited the flood-ravaged Karimnagar and Sultanabad mandals on Wednesday and provided and ex-gratia of Rs. 1.5 lakhs to some of the affected persons. Later at a review meeting with the officials, Mr. Prasada Rao said that the Government was getting a bad name due to improper enumeration of crops damaged.
