ANANTAPUR: One person was killed and two others were seriously injured in a stampede following a wall collapse during the release of Chiranjeevi's new film "Stalin" at a cinema theatre at Tadipatri in the district on Wednesday. According to the police, the stampede took place before the commencement of booking for the noon show when the gates of Sai Teja cinema hall were opened for the audience. The heavy crowd of Chiranjeevi fans tried to enter the cinema hall at once and a large section of them scaled the compound wall following which it collapsed. Adinarayana, (25), Ravikumar and Raju were seriously injured and the three were rushed to the General Hospital here after being administered first aid at the Government Hospital in Tadipatri. Adinarayana died while undergoing treatment. GUNTUR: Two fans of the actor were electrocuted at Vinukonda in Guntur district. The two along with five others were adjusting the height of a pole for tying the banner of `Stalin' at Keerthi theatre when the pole touched a high-tension electric wire. The two were identified as Adapala Nagaraju of Venkupalem and Sheik Hussain.
