Title for Sri Krishna
Coimbatore:
Sri Krishna College of Arts and Science clinched its maiden volleyball title defeating Bharathiar University 25-16, 25-13, 25-16 in the final of the CICAA sports and games tournament at the Maruthi College courts here on Wednesday.
Sri Krishna finished the day on a memorable note with a resounding 73-50 win over Maruthi College of Physical Education for the basketball title.
The results (final): Volleyball: Sri Krishna CAS bt Bharathiar University 25-16, 25-13, 25-16. Basketball: Sri Krishna CAS 73 bt Maruthi CPE 50. Football: Sree Narayana Guru CAS bt Maruthi CPE 4-2 via tiebreaker. Semifinals: Sree Narayana Guru 2 bt CMS 0; Maruthi CPE bt Karunya Deemed University 5-4 via tiebreaker.
