CHENNAI: The sub-group of the Election Commission, which met here on Wednesday, deliberated on issues pertaining to upgrading of electoral rolls, methodology and schedule for introduction of electoral rolls in all constituencies, maximisation of coverage of electoral photo identity cards (EPICs) etc. According to an official release, the group would submit its report to the Election Commission soon. The Commission constituted the sub-group recently to deliberate on various electoral issues. It consists of the Chief Electoral Officers of West Bengal, Kerala, Maharashtra, Uttaranchal and Tamil Nadu.
