KOCHI: The host, Bhavan's Vidya Mandir (Elamakkara) finished with a happy double in the Bhavan's inter-school basketball tournament that concluded here on Wednesday. The Bhavan's boys defeated Chinmaya Vidyalaya (Vaduthala) 50-27 and regained the title while the girls beat St. Peter's (Kadayiruppu) 44-15 to win the trophy for the 14th successive time. Vishnu V. Gopal, who played a big role in Bhavan's triumph, was named the best player in the boys' section while the host's Sreelakshmi was adjudged the best among girls. Reghu Ramachandran, the Rotary Club (Cochin East) president, gave away the prizes. The scores (finals): Boys: Bhavan's, Elamakkara 50 (Vishnu V. Gopal 26, Neeraj A.
