DEHRA DUN: The police have gunned down three men described as dreaded gangsters in a fierce encounter at Golapur by-pass near Haldwani. They were identified as Gulzar Khan, Raju Khan and the brother of Shekhar Upreti, another known gangster presently lodged in Naini Tal Jail. According to a senior police officer, the trio was involved in over a dozen cases of extortion and murder.
