Health workers stage dharna

NEW DELHI: Members of the Central Health Employees' Federation staged a dharna at Jantar Mantar here on Wednesday demanding filling up of vacant posts, grant of patient care allowance and removal of "contractualisation of service in the health sector".Health employees from various local hospitals including Safdarjung and Ram Manohar Lohia, National Malaria Eradication Programme, and Port and Airport Health Organisation shouted slogans in support of their 15-point charter of demands, stating that they would continue their agitation till their demands are met.
