Hunger strike

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Vikalanga Samyukta Samara Samithi will go on a 12-hour hunger strike in front of the Secretariat on October 2 demanding re-appointment of handicapped temporary employees and pension hike , among other things.

Samithi leaders U.C. Abdul Samad, Sumesh and Sasidharan Nair told a press conference here on Thursday that the Government had failed to honour its commitment.
