THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Toonz Animation Academy, one of Asia's top animation studios, will organise an animation seminar on various job opportunities in animation at Hotel South Park on Saturday. The seminar will witness animation expert Prosenjit Ganguly, an alumnus of the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, conduct sessions on an assortment of topics such as international industries perspectives, story telling and history of animation. There will also be a session on 2 D animation by Dino, an animation expert from the Philippines with 15-years of experience in the industry. The seminar will present a rare opportunity for participants to see a live demo of a finished piece of animated work undergoing step-by-step undoing process, climaxing at the initial phase from where it began. This will help the participants to visualise what specific job they can aspire for with their specific talents. The seminar will end with an interactive question-answer session. "Our seminar aims to throw light on the immense opportunities offered by the animation industry," said Radhakrishnan Nair, executive director, Toonz Animation Academy. "We want students and parents to understand the tremendous job possibilities that exist in this field for youngsters with a creative bend of mind, jobs that give opportunity for self-expression and a great international career," Mr. Nair said.
