Special Correspondent
NEW DELHI:
Having posted a turnover Rs. 7,500 crore last year, South Korean consumer electronics major LG on Wednesday asserted that it would hit the Rs. 10,000 crore turnover mark in India by next year, largely on the strength of increased sales of its flat panel display (FPD) systems.
The company expects its turnover figures to hover between Rs. 8,500 crore and Rs. 9,000 crore this year, LG Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. Vice-President (Sales and Marketing), Girish V. Rao, said while kicking off its festive season scheme.
The company has launched 11 new models of latest FPD range starting from a price of Rs. 30,000 and above for the festive season.
