JVV State meet tomorrow

ANANTAPUR: The ninth State Congress of Jana Vignana Vedika (JVV) affiliated to All India People's Science Network would be at Patancheru in Medak district on September 23 and 24, vice-president of the organisation M. Geyanand said here on Thursday.

Noted scientist and vice-chairman of National Knowledge Commission P.M. Bhargava would inaugurate the JVV meet. Well-known scientist in mathematics T. Jayaraman would deliver the keynote address.

Besides, general secretary of AIPSN Amitsen Gupta and deputy director of Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology Ch. Mohan Rao would also speak at the meet. Scientist of National Institute of Nutrition Mehtab S. Bamji and Medak Collector B. Venkatesham would also participate in the inaugural session.

About 300 delegates from all over the State would participate in the meeting. The delegates would comprise teachers, doctors, scientists, professors, students and other Government employees.
