Remand prisoner dies

Tiruchi: A remand prisoner, V. Bhoopathi (28) of Thalaignayiru, lodged at the Tiruchi Central Prison, was reported to have died after complaining of chest pain.

Bhoopathi, arrested in connection with a murder case last month, was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead by the doctors on arrival.
