Coimbatore: The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has revised the tariff for various intelligent network services (IN) offered by BSNL in landline telephones, a release from the BSNL said. The Voice Virtual Private Network (Voice VPN), which enables the landline subscribers to establish a Closed User Group (CUG) using existing telephone network resources within the Short Distance Charging Area (SDCA), within the circle or within the nation. Calls among this group would be totally free irrespective of the distance. The activation charge would be Rs 3,000. The minimum connections for VPN under SDCA and circle category would be 25 numbers, for nationwide CUG the minimum number of lines was 50. A subscriber to the Universal Personal Number (UPN) could receive or make a call using the number from any BSNL phone. The activation charge was Rs 100. Monthly rental was Rs 25 (free if monthly billing was Rs 1,000 or more). Premium Rate Service (PRM) allowed access to service providers such as forecast, future, share market, job consultation and counselling. The activation charges were Rs 3,000. The PRM rental per month was Rs 3,000. Account Calling Card (ACC) was for those who wanted to have a permanent account with BSNL. The activation charge would be Rs 100. The registration fee would be Rs 5510, including service tax. Renewal by top up card would be Rs 1,102. The usage charges would be as per India Telecom Cards (ITC).
