JAIPUR: Rajasthan Industries Minister Narpat Singh Rajvi has underlined the need for promotion of exports to create more employment opportunities and strengthen industrial development of the State. The new industrial policy had provided several concessions to export units, he said. Addressing a training programme on "Export procedures, documentation and marketing in foreign trade'' here on Wednesday, Mr. Rajvi said the export-related formalities had been simplified in the State to create a favourable atmosphere for exporters. He said steps would be taken to remove all difficulties faced by exporters. The two-day training programme for exporters was organised by the State Industries Commissioner and New Delhi-based Centre for Global Business Management. Mr. Rajvi affirmed that the State Government had identified export as a significant sector and established an Export Promotion Cell in the Industries Department to support it. "Rajasthan has registered a phenomenal growth in exports during the last decade,'' Mr. Rajvi said.
