EXCELLENCE IN BUSINESS ACUMEN: M. Murali and M. Coimbatore: The Rotary Club of Coimbatore Metropolis on Thursday felicitated M. Krishnan and M. Murali, directors of Sri Krishna Sweets, who won the Best Business Person Award from the Indian American Business Promotion Council (IABPC) recently. According to Prakaash M. Swami, Executive Director of the council, who participated in the function, the brothers are recognised for their commitment to social responsibility, upholding commitment to operating in an ethical manner, patronising and managing corporate social responsibility initiatives, applying the highest standards of excellence in purchasing to delivery and contributing positively to the communities. -They are also recognised for their commitment to quality and excellence in business acumen. Their corporate social responsibility is worthy of emulation by Indian and American companies. The company's philosophy to do a good deed is implemented through an innovative and purposeful, unique social responsibility programme by supporting one programme every day to energise lives across the wide spectrum of the society to build better individuals and better community is noteworthy. The duo have also been chosen by the Federation of Tamil Sangams of North America for its Award of Excellence 2006 for their role in promoting Tamil language, culture, music, fine arts, heritage and spirituality.
