National convention for management students
For aspiring managers in the country it is going to be a time to showcase their talents and have fun this month end.
The MBA Department of Ethiraj College in the city is all set to host a national convention for management students from colleges across India.
The convention titled `Paradigm 2006', which has been planned for September 29 and 30, seeks to showcase the talents of aspiring managers in a series of activities designed to bring out the best in them.
The two-day convention will include events such as Business Quiz, Fuzzy Fusion, Stock Market, Ad Zap, Paper Presentation and Best Manager among others.
Topics for the paper presentations to be made during the convention include `Brand India: challenges and opportunities', `Multi-vendor approach: challenges ahead', `Nurturing fast track leaders: trends in HR', `Challenges in higher education: emerging issues' and `Fostering entrepreneurial culture in organisations'.
