CHENNAI: Zee-Turner Group's bouquet of channels, which includes Zee TV, Zee Sports, Zee Movies, HBO and Cartoon Network, will soon be available on Tata Sky's direct-to-home (DTH) service. The Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT), set up by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India to settle disputes in the telecom sector, on Wednesday ordered the Zee Group to make their bouquet of 32 channels available on TATA-Sky service within 48 hours. Tata Sky representatives on Thursday said negotiations were still going on over the pricing of the bouquet, but that it would not affect the immediate billing cycle of their customers. The service will have more than 100 channels with the addition of the Zee bouquet. The entry of Tata Sky into the DTH platform, making it the second private player after DishTV to do so, has livened up the DTH scene in recent months. Now, both private players have started offering interactive programming for their customers. The ongoing coverage of the DLF Tri-nation Cup in Kuala Lumpur on DishTV enables TV viewers to switch camera angles, browse through regional language commentaries and watch highlights any time they want. Tata Sky has launched interactive lessons for children called `Active Whizkids'. Meanwhile, Sun TV and Sun News from the Sun Network have started beaming on DishTV and Doordarshan's DD Direct Plus on the free-to-air tier.
