Mason `kills' brother

HYDERABAD: A mason, Hanumanthu, allegedly killed his elder brother, P. Subba Rao, 25, by plunging a sharp-edged log into his chest while the latter was taking a nap in his house at Saroornagar on Thursday afternoon.

The motive behind the killing is yet to be ascertained, the Saroornagar police said.

Hailing from Darsi in Prakasam district, the brothers used to work as masons and live at Padmanagar in Karmanghat. Hanumanthu got married a month ago.
