Unhealthy trend in real estate

The real estate boom while catapulting the city high on property charts appears to have slowly started exposing its dark side. There appears to be a rise in property related crimes in recent times with reports of land grabbing and kidnap and killings involving real estate dealers trickling in more often than earlier.

At the same time, investors who pumped in their meagre savings in plots hoping to reap the benefits in future realise they were taken for a ride by agents.
