Renovated rail waiting hall to be inaugurated today

Thiruvananthapuram:
The waiting hall for reserved passengers in Thiruvananthapuram Central railway station, renovated at a cost of Rs.12 lakh, will be commissioned by Pannian Ravindran, MP, on Friday.
Renovated as part of the "Touch and Feel" programme of Union Railway Minister Lalu Prasad, the waiting hall has been given a new look with the laying of vitrified tiles and by providing proper lighting.
Apart from toilets for gents and ladies, separate toilet has been provided in the renovated waiting hall for the physically challenged.
