Three banks sign MoU on strategic alliance
MANGALORE:
The Chairmen and Managing Directors of Oriental Bank of Commerce, Indian Bank and Corporation Bank met in Mumbai recently and signed a memorandum of understanding among the banks, a Corporation Bank release said. The MoU encompasses illustrative areas of collaboration and cooperation in the areas of building e-payment system, sharing of information technology and treasury resources, foray into capital markets and international and other financial ventures. It also covers bank assurance, business syndications and sharing, sharing training resources, common procurement of IT and other assets wherever feasible and any other mutually acceptable and beneficial areas.
