Yellow Pages launches operations in city

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Consumers can now make their purchases more efficiently, GETIT Infomediary, one of the largest publishers of Yellow Pages in the country have launched their operations in the city.

In a release issued to the media, Sidharth Gupta, chief operating officer, GETIT said: "GETIT is committed to delivering high quality information on products and services so that consumers get relevant information in the most user-friendly manner anytime, anywhere." "Similarly traders, businessmen and exporters will have this cost-effective advertising media to showcase their products and services and grow their businesses with our multiple range of products and services that cater to the local, domestic and international markets," Mr. Gupta said.

According to K.D. Kini, chief general manager (sales): "We have an efficient sales and marketing team already operational in Thiruvananthapuram. The first edition of the Yellow Pages and Corporate pages for Thiruvananthapuram will ensure maximum coverage across all relevant products and services categories to the consumers in Thiruvananthapuram, Attingal, Kovalam, Neyyattinkara, Kochuvelli, Varkkala, Kollam, Kottarakkara and Karunagappally. The issue will be brought out in 2007."

Another significant product offering is the 24x7 tele-information service Getitnow. Consumers can contact at: 444 4444 and seek information on products and services, including public utility and emergency services.

"We will soon be expanding our operations to Kottayam, Thrissur and other districts of the State," said Ramesh Gupta, vice-chairman and managing director, GETIT.

Over 60,000 copies of Yellow Pages and CD-ROM's will be distributed free to households and commercial establishments in and around Thiruvananthapuram.
