Kuala Lumpur: Described by coach Bennett King as a "phenomenal athlete", Dwayne Smith, has under-achieved in his two-and-a-half year international career. A powerful striker of the ball he smashed three fours in an Agarkar over on Wednesday before unluckily being given out Smith has only one international century in 10 Tests and 46 ODIs. He spoke to newsmen on Friday. (Excerpts): On scalping four with the new ball: For me, it was just that the skipper asked me to open the bowling and I had no problem. I decided to put the ball in the right area and let the wicket do the rest. On his batting: I am struggling a little bit in batting but I am still confident. I am getting good knocks at the nets and it will help me to get out of the lean performances. Things did not work for me in the last match but I am confident I am going to get some runs. On the woes of the West Indies middle-order: It's just that we have to stay confident. I don't see any reason for it to continue. It's just that one good start, and the runs will start flowing. On the mood in the team before the final: The team spirit is very high. We are all looking to do well. The guys have been working hard and I am sure we will be able to do well. On bowling to Tendulkar: It was not much of a problem for me. He was scoring off me so I just continued to concentrate on my bowling. Ultimately, Tendulkar got out after scoring 65 and it was good for our team.
