Health camp in Egmore

CHENNAI
: The medical branch of the Chennai Division of the Southern Railway on Friday conducted a diabetes, hypertension and coronary artery disease detection camp at the office of the Chief Administrative Officer (Construction), Southern Railway, Egmore, Chennai.
The camp was organised to mark the occasion of the World Heart Day being observed on September 24. Blood sugar, lipid profile and ECG of all participants were checked at the camp. After the camp, Dr. K. P. Misra of Apollo Hospitals addressed the audience.
The Health Promotion Council's Chennai Division also celebrated its first anniversary with Chief Administrative Officer V. Somasundaram and Divisional Railway Manager Man Singh participating.
