CHENNAI : The risk of heart disease is higher among Indians than white Americans, Chinese and Japanese, and as a community, Indians are more prone to heart diseases at a younger age, according to cardiac surgeon S. Thiagarajamurthy, Chennai Kaliappa Hospital.
