"Miss Take" drugs worth Rs.50 lakh seized

CHENNAI: Acting on complaints from women's organisations and women social activists, the officials from the Drugs Control Department Directorate swung into action and seized drugs identified as "Miss Take" worth Rs.50 lakh from godowns. According to an official press release issued here on Friday, the Commissioner of Police Chennai city had written a letter in this connection to the authorities concerned. Investigations revealed that the company had released advertisements in the media and a search in the godowns resulted in seizure of the drugs.

Further investigation is on.
