HYDERABAD:
The Yashoda Group of Hospitals is planning to launch a mobile diagnostic facility to screen and detect cardiac and cancer cases across the State with focus on the rural areas.
Addressing mediapersons here on Thursday, group's executive director G. Surender Rao said the facility would involve fully equipped vans touring the State with a team of specialist doctors. The project, part of Yashoda's social responsibility initiative, is likely to be launched in a fortnight. It will cover Siddipet, Nalgonda and Ranga Reddy districts in the first phase. "We expect to cover the entire State in two or three years during which we will increase the number of vans as well," Dr. Rao said.
