Water board drive on bills

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) has launched a door-to-door drive for collection of bills in all divisions, starting from Mallepally. This measure is aimed at shoring up its revenue and also provide better service to customers. Customers have been requested to make use of the opportunity, a press release said.

Alternative routes

The city traffic police have appealed to people to take alternative routes because of possible traffic congestion due to road repair works near 1/12 junction on Road No. 12 of Banjara Hills. Instead of travelling on Road No. 12 of Banjara Hills, commuters can take road Nos. 2, 4, 7, 10, 13 and 14 and Orissa Island to KBR park.

Power shutdown

There will be no power supply in the following areas on Saturday.

10 a.m. to 1 p.m.:

A.P. Dairy, Kimthi Colony, Lalapet, Tarnaka

10 a.m. to 2 p.m.:

Borabanda, Habeeb Fatima Nagar, Hamali Basthi, Karmika Nagar, Kavadiguda, Padmashali Colony, Prabhath Nagar, Sai Nagar, Sreeram Nagar, Swaraj Nagar, Vinayak Nagar

10 a.m. to 4 p.m.:

Banjara Hills Road No. 8, 10, 11, 12 and 13,

CRPF Area, Gurror Colony, MLA Colony, Sriram Nagar

2 to 5 p.m.:

Ashok Nagar, Chikkadpally Market,

2.30 to 5.30 p.m.:

Mirjalguda, North Lallaguda, Shanthi Nagar
