MADRID: China's Bao Chunlai clinched his place in his first World badminton championship final with a confident 21-15, 21-19 victory over Lee Hyun-il of South Korea here on Saturday. In the women's singles top seed and World No. 1 Zhang Ning swept past Germany's Petra Overzier 21-19, 21-11. In the mixed doubles an all-English final was guaranteed after Nathan Robertson and Gail Emms joined training partners Anthony Clark and Donna Kellogg in Sunday's final. Bao clinched his place in the final four 22-20 12-21 21-18. The results: Men (semifinals): Bao Chunlai bt Lee Hyun-Il 21-15, 21-19.
