Award for VSP CMD

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Indian Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIIE) has presented the performance excellence award (individual) to Chairman and Managing Director of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant Y. Siva Sagar Rao.

Andhra University Vice-Chancellor L. Venugopal Reddy, who gave the award at a function conducted here on Saturday, lauded the contribution of award winning chief executive officers for their significant contribution for the growth of their respective organisations in particular and industries in general.

Other awardees

IIIE also presented awards to Visakhapatnam Port Trust Chairman K. Ratna Kishore, Dredging Corporation of India Chairman N.K. Gupta and Hindustan Shipyard Limited Chairman Ajit Tewari in recognition of their performance.

IIIE national president G. Krishna Murthy, Visakhapatnam chapter chairman S.R. Gollapudi, Gitam College of Engineering principal V.V. Kutumba Rao were present.
