Install streetlights

It is the practice to install streetlights on the sides of newly built bridges.

Although electric posts are present on the eastern side of the newly built Karamana bridge, streetlights have not been installed. Hope the authorities will look into the matter.

Set up traffic light system

With MG Road being made into a four-lane road, there is a need for a traffic light system in front of the Martyrs' Column at Palayam where four roads meet. This will enable proper control of traffic. Marking of zebra crossing will help pedestrians cross the road. Vehicle parking by the roadside near Connemara Market should not be allowed. Traffic police should be deployed to help people cross roads to visit places of religious worship.
