Lord Attlee, former Prime Minister of Britain, will be visiting Madras next month. He will be in Madras on October 15 and stay in the city for five days. He will be accorded a civic reception. The Senate of the Madras University will confer on him an honorary degree. Lord Attlee will visit places of interest in and around Madras and also Mahabalipuram.
