HYDERABAD: The 2007 World Military Games will be held in Hyderabad next October. It has attracted a record number of 127 countries with over 5,000 participants, including Olympic medallists, said Brig. Gen. Gianni Gola, president of CISM (International Military Sports Council) here on Monday. Brig. Gen Gola informed the media that the whole concept was to bring armed forces from around the world closer through sports. "The increasing number of participants in these Games is proof of this and in terms of countries, it is double the participation of the Commonwealth Games," he said. Principal Correspondent
