Mumbai : There is no change in the category of security cover provided to Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister R. R. Patil said here on Monday. "He continues to get the `X' category of security and there is no change in the category," Mr. Patil told reporters at his official residence this evening when asked to comment on Samajawadi Party leader Amar Singh's allegation that the State Government had scaled down the actor's security. "Review of security cover provided to VIPs and others is a regular process and no one should give a political colour to it," Mr. Patil, who also holds the Home portfolio, said. On Sunday, Mr. Amar Singh charged Mr. Patil and NCP chief Sharad Pawar of scaling down the security of Mr. Bachchan and Samajwadi Party MP Abu Asim Azmi. PTI
