dated September 27, 1956: L.K. Kirloskar dead

Mr. Laxmanrao Kashinath Kirloskar (88), founder of the Kirloskar Works at Kirloskarwadi, near Satara, died in Poona on September 26. Mr. Laxmanrao founded the Kirloskar Works in 1910 and was considered a pioneer in machine industry. The Kirloskar Works have four factories at Kirkee, Kirloskarwadi, Harihar and Bangalore.
