Flowers like marigold, thangedu and gunugu find a definite place in the Bathukamma arrangement. Later, all the Bathukamma would be placed at central place like a temple in the locality. Women circle round the Bathukamma cluster and belting rustic numbers, they clap and swerve to the rhythm of the songs.

Later, the Bathukamma are immersed in a nearby lake. Haldi-kumkum and prasadam are exchanged on the shores of the tank. Adiue is bid to Goddess Gauri.
