Puducherry: The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) constituted by the Puducherry Government has announced that counselling of students for admissions into the B.Ed course (2006-07) in Colleges of Education in the Union Territory would be held from September 27 to 30. A release from the Committee Convenor said here on Monday that the counselling would be held in the Conference Hall of the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) in the Navalar Nedunchezhian Government Higher Secondary School at Lawspet. Following is the schedule of counselling: Tamil, Mathematics, Biological Sciences and Physical Sciences at 9.30 a.m. on September 27, 28, 29 and 30 respectively. Counselling is at 2.30 p.m. for Commerce, English and Social Studies candidates on September 27, 28 and 29 respectively. Call letters have been sent to all eligible candidates. Those who have not received the letters can also attend the counselling with all the required original certificates, the release said. Counselling was supposed to have been held between September 6 and 9 for admission to the B.Ed course. But it was postponed as the Pondicherry University had not granted renewal of provisional affiliation to all the Colleges of Education here for the year 2006-2007.
