NEW DELHI: Rahul and Shikhar scored a goal each as Bal Bharti School (Noida) defeated Bhatnagar International School 2-0 in the Delhi State school hockey league at the Shivaji Stadium here. In another match, Modern School beat Guru Harkrishan Public School (Vasant Vihar) 3-2. Harsh, Karan and Javed Singh scored for the winning team. Tarun netted a brace for GHPS. In the institutional league, Punjab National Bank overpowered Indian Airlines 7-3. Sukhpal (3), Jatinder (2), Gurvinder and Vikas Toppo were the scorers for PNB. Airlines found the target through Sanjeev, Puneet Rana and Naved Zia. Earlier, PNB Academy scored a 5-2 victory over FCI (HQ). Satish Kuamr, Kamlesh Rai, Harjit, Kulwant Singh and C. Sama scored for the winner. Amit (Sr.) and Virender Malik netted for FCI. — Special Correspondent
