KURNOOL: A tribal farmer ended his life by consuming pesticide at Gudumbai Tanda in Orvakal mandal on Tuesday unable to repay the money he had borrowed. Sukre Naik (45) who went to the field to spray pesticide on his crop consumed the same chemical and died in the field. Naik was reportedly worried about repayment of Rs. 20,000 he had borrowed from the panchayat. He had also spent Rs. 50,000 on the marriage of his daughter and his total debt ran to Rs. 1.5 lakhs.
