NEW DELHI: The Bharatiya Janata Party has taken no decision on supporting the TRS, party spokesperson Prakash Javadekar said on Tuesday. He, however, confirmed that TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao, had spoken to BJP president Rajnath Singh after leaving the UPA. Mr. Javadekar said Mr. Singh offered no support to TRS. The BJP's Andhra Pradesh unit had said when election was held for Karimnagar Lok Sabha constituency, the party would contest it. This means the BJP would put up a candidate against Mr. Rao. However, the party reiterated its firm support to the cause of separate Telengana.
