YSR's son hogs the limelight on banner

Staff Reporter

PRIDE OF PLACE: The poster displaying Janganmohan Reddy along with other Congress leaders.

KADAPA: `Leader for the future,' says a large banner projecting Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy, son of Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, at RIMS, the venue for UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi's public meeting at Putlampalle on Wednesday.

Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy's portrait dominates the banner, which also features portraits of former Prime Ministers Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy. Kadapa Mayor P. Ravindranath Reddy and Proddatur MLA N. Varadarajulu Reddy are also seen in the banner put up on RIMS outpatient block building, towards the right side of the dais.

Cut-outs of Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy have been put up at some important centres in Kadapa town. Notwithstanding the propaganda, Congress leaders are not sure of Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy's participation in Sonia Gandhi's visit.
