Five-wkt. haul by Shyam Sundar

VISAKHAPATNAM: Vizianagaram shot out Srikakulam for a paltry 37 and G. Shyam Sundar's five-wicket haul propelled Visakhapatnam to a strong position against East Godavari on the first day of the two-day league match in the ACA North Zone under-13 inter-district cricket tournament at Vizianagaram on Tuesday.

The scores: Srikakulam 37 in 37 overs (N. Dileep Kumar four for 9, Abhinav Sagar three for 3) vs. Vizianagaram 138 for four in 58 overs (K. Satish Kumar 87).

East Godavari 61 in 66.5 overs (G. Shyam Sundar five for 14) vs. Visakhapatnam 46 for two in 25 overs. — Special Correspondent
