Agitation planned against `land encroachment'

All-party panel wants enquiry by sitting judge

KADAPA: An all-party committee decided to launch a phased agitation against alleged encroachment of lands in Kadapa if an enquiry by a sitting judge was not ordered, committee convenor G. Chandra said on Tuesday. The panel comprising CPI, CPI (M), TDP, AITUC, AISF, AIYF and Ambedkar Mission leaders would inspect the encroached lands on October 3 and 4, he said. Relay hunger strike and protest rallies would be launched in the second phase and the Collectorate would be picketed in the third phase, he said.
