KURNOOL: LPG customers, fed up with the erratic supply of cooking gas, stormed the office of Indane distributor at Budhawarpet here on Tuesday. They snapped the telephone wires. The customers complained that they had been facing hardships in the last six months because of erratic supply. The supply system was paralysed as the dealer allegedly diverted the subsidised refills to commercial use. They said most of the time the phone was non-functional in the distributor's office and they were forced to visit the office to book a refill. The dealer blamed the delivery boys for the plight.
Agitation threat
The customers warned that they would resort to an agitation if things did not improve. Meanwhile, sales officer of IOC Shiva Kumar said that the supply was almost normal and there was a minor delay because the vehicle bringing bulk fuel to the bottling plant at Kadapa had met with an accident. Saying that he also received complaints about the delivery boys, he promised to set right the distribution within a few days.
